EuroSIDA Cohort IX
Thank
you to all centres for the great respond to the call for enrolment of
new patients into EuroSIDA Cohort IX. In the winter of 2011/2012 2705
new patients will be enrolled into EuroSIDA Cohort IX. In the following
please see the distribution of these 2705 patients between the regions:
Northern region: 430 patients
Western region: 465 patients
Eastern region: 1405 patients
Southern region: 405 patients
12 new EuroSIDA clinics from the following countries have been invited
to enroll patients into Cohort IX: Denmark (2), France (1), Iceland
(1), Moldova (1), Russia (3), Spain (1), Switzerland (1) and Ukraine
(2).
Ethical Approval
This
is a
friendly reminder that your centre needs to ensure that the Ethical
Approval for your participation in the EuroSIDA study (if required) is
valid. If you need to update your Ethical Approval, please contact
Jorunn at jtv@cphiv.dk for the recently updated Protocol and
for the Informed Consent Form.

3rd
Party Agreement
There still are EuroSIDA centres that need to return a signed 3rd
Party Agreement to the coordinating centre. A reminder was sent out to
these centres in November. The coordinating centre will follow up
on these missing 3rd Party Agreements before X-mas 2011.

If your centre has plasma samples you want to ship to the coordinating
centre, please contact Annette at ahf@cphiv.dk
Payment
in
EuroSIDA
Please
note that from 2012 your EuroSIDA centre will only be reimbursed
once a year. Next EuroSIDA reimburesment will be in September 2012.
Follow-up
forms for dataset 35
Dataset 35 has recently been sent out to
all
centres. The deadline for returning the forms to CHIP is 1st February
2012. If you have questions regarding the completion of the forms,
please contact Jorunn at jtv@cphiv.dk
