PARTNER Newsletter

February 2013

Issue 16

Enrolment Status
As of February 2013 75 sites are open and 923 pairs have been enrolled. Enrolment of new couples has been steady and we have now recruited 65% of the required sample size.

Follow up for more than 2 years

In the PARTNER protocol we asked couples to participate for 2 years. Some of the first couples were enrolled in 2010, and have now been participating in PARTNER for more than 2 years. Therefore we would like all of you to ask those couples if they would please continue in PARTNER. We really appreciate all the years they can contribute to the study.
If they will accept they will have to re-consent on the old Informed Consent from or sign a new consent form. The couple will NOT have to get a new PID number.

Enrolment in 2013
Please continue to recruit new couples in all of 2013.

Reimbursement
We are changing the reimbursement for the PARTNER from quarterly to every 6 months starting this year. If this is a problem for your clinic or your administration please concact Tina Bruun.
All sites will be reimbursed in February/March 2013.
