International Coordinating Centres (ICCs)
  • The Copenhagen ICC is based at the Copenhagen HIV Programme offices at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Copenhagen HIV Program is also coordinating the large EuroSIDA and D:A:D observational cohort studies.
  • The London ICC is based at the Medical Research Council (MRC) Clinical Trials Unit in London, UK. The MRC coordinated the conduct of trials such as Concorde, Alpha, Delta and INITIO.
  • The Sydney ICC is based at the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research (NCHECR) offices at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, Australia. The NCHECR carries out research on HIV treatments, ART toxicities, and preventive strategies.
  • The Washington ICC is based at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and is affiliated with George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA. This group served as the Chair's office for the CPCRA.
