The 2nd phase of PARTNER study has received funding from the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research in the UK), A.P. Møller Foundation, Augustinus Foundation and ViiV and is sponsored by UCL (University College London). Additionally funding for participation of the Swiss centres has been provided by the Swiss Office of Public Health. The study is coordinated cooperatively between CHIP (Centre for health and infectious disease research), UCL and Royal Free NHS. The ethics committees in all of the 14 countries have by December 2014 approved the 2nd phase of PARTNER.
